The snow is falling yet again in Strathmore.

The snow is expected to stick around until Sunday, making road conditions slick and snowy.

Meteorologist for Environment Canada, Brian Proctor says this won't be the last time for snow.

"I wouldn't say we're done yet for the season. Often we see our heaviest snowfall events as we move into April but the further, we get into April, the less likely we are going to see more snowfall events."

Proctor thinks there's probably still a possibility of one or two more events in the early portions of the month.

"Generally by the time we get to sort of the second half of the month, we're largely done and moving into fairly springtime conditions".

A snow dump is also headed for the area with 10-15 cm expected.

"We're getting into a period of a prolonged period of snowfall at this point. I would think the Calgary area, including Strathmore, is going to see probably somewhere on the order of probably 10 to 15 centimeters of snow," said Proctor.

As the snow continues to fall, we will keep you updated online and on the radio.
