Police say a missing man has died.

In late November, Strathmore RCMP issued a release in hopes of finding 29-year-old Amir Dasooky. Dasooky was last seen leaving his house in Calgary and was house-sitting in Wheatland County.

During his last phone conversation, Dasooky mentioned that while he was house-sitting, he may go hunting in the area. His vehicle was later found on Range Road 270, just north of Highway 22X near Dalemead Reservoir.

"Though an autopsy is scheduled at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary, initial investigation does not reveal any sign of foul play," RCMP said in a release.

Mounties have issued their condolences to Dasooky's family and friends.
