The Strathmore Wheatland Chamber of Commerce (SWCC) celebrated Small Business Week on Friday with a virtual panel discussion with local businesses in the area.

The theme of the panel was “Strive to Thrive.”

The Zoom discussion featured businesses sharing how they thrived their way through the pandemic.

“One huge takeaway for me was that these business owners all see the importance of sharing what is working for them so that we can all learn from it and all take from it,” explained chair of the SWCC, Hayley Poirier.

The Green Easy, Four Sisters Catering, Poplar Bluff Farms, Origin Brewing, and Dobre Food and Catering were all featured in the panel and Poirier is excited to continue to host these events at the Chamber.

“We think here at the SWCC, we have mastered the virtual panel medium, and it's inspired us to continue the conversation. There is definitely more to come.”
