I had the best time talking to Claudia Littlefair about her passion for square dancing.

She was in to promote an event on Wednesday night (Jan. 31). 

"We are having a try-it-night for people who have never square danced before, or maybe they square danced years ago and may want to try it again," said Littlefair.

Claudia wants to see the community come out and just have some fun.

"Lots of people mix us up with old traditional square dancing, but this is different; this is modern square dancing," she explained.

The group will dance to any kind of music, including pop, rock, salsa, country, and many more.

"You don't even need to bring a partner," Littlefair said.

Square dancing will be at 7 p.m. at Westmount School in the gym.
