The Strathmore High School Spartans played Foothills Composite High School in the Semi-Finals last Friday.  The boys put up a valiant effort, but could not come away with the win.

Head Coach of the Spartans Travis Gorski described the breakdown during the final quarter, "They scored three TD's in the last four minutes, so the score was not reflective of the entire game. We had one weird play where we blocked a field goal attempt."

The final score was 35 to 0 for Foothills Composite.   

The Spartans team will have 35 players on the team returning next year so they will take all of the experience they got this season and come back strong in the next.

Gorski wanted to say a special "Shout Out" to our graduating class of Grade 12 John Gibbons, Nick Heaton, Teerawat Satirawong, Brandon Middlemiss, Issac Musselman, Gabe Matatall, Malikia Henry, Ricardo Hernandez, and Max Sims.
