The Strathmore High School football team, the Spartans, had their home opener last Friday. And, even though they were up against some tough odds, they played with heart.

The final score being 34 to 8 for the visiting Foothill Falcons. Head Coach Travis Gorski said they will be working on the fundamentals and improve on their offensive line to give their quarterback Noah Desjardins a chance to rack up the rushing yards.

The next home game will be October 6, 2018, at Strathmore High School.
