HBO's The Last of Us has won eight Emmys and could have more coming.
The show was primarily shot in Alberta, including the Calgary area and into the Rocky Mountains.
During the 75th Creative Arts Emmys, The Last of Us won for:
- Prosthetic makeup
- Special visual effects
- Main title design
- Sound editing
- Sound mixing
- Picture editing
- As well as a guest actress in a drama series (Storm Reid)
- Guest actor in a drama series (Nick Offerman)
More awards may be coming this Monday at the prime-time awards show.
