On March 14, the Wheatland Society Of Arts held their reception for the Adaptive Arts Program in conjunction with United Way, FCSS, Town of Strathmore and Wheatland County.  The display occurs twice a year and the pieces are professionally framed and give a space for inclusive art for adults who may be suffering from disabilities or mobility issues.

Jennifer Mamer said, " This project has multiple positive effects for the participants, physical benefits working with their motor skills by handling scissors and paint brush works as physiotherapy and through testing a lot of neural plasticity from the incorporation of art."

The community has helped Wheatland Society Of Arts to fund their low-cost programs such as the Youth Program and make the art accessible to people who might not be able to afford the program s otherwise.
