Tire Changing Invention Grabs Agriculture Industry's Attention

Changing a car tire on your own can be a pain.

Now imagine if the tire is for a piece of farm equipment, is twice your height and weighs as much as a truck.

That was the problem for Central Alberta farmer, Darcy Goossen.

He created the tire grabber, an attachment designed for any forklift, that's capable of lifting more than 1800 kilograms, making it easy for one person to lift, rotate, and change a tire on any piece of farm equipment.

His invention was voted best farm yard invention of the year at Canada's Farm Progress Show in Regina, SK.
