Crime has been a hot topic this month, but the Airdrie RCMP are working to make everything right again.

This past month, Airdrie RCMP and Airdrie RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) recovered more than $150 000 worth of stolen items.

On May 10th, the RCMP and RCMP CRU worked with the Southern District Emergency Response Team to conduct a search warrant in Rocky View County, resulting in $20 000 stolen items recovered. This included tools, generators, personal items and identity documents.

From June 8 to June 15, they also recovered two vehicles, a utility trailer, travel trailer and a Skid Steer.

The following people have been charged as a result of these investigations:

  • Baljinder Sandhu (31) of Calgary has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.
  • Sarbjit Singh (40) of Calgary has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.
  • Sukhjit Dhaliwal (46) of Calgary has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.
  • Tirath Gill (25) of Calgary has been charged with two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 and two counts of Fail to Comply with a Release Order.
  • Dharminder Gosal (41) of Calgary has been charged with two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.
  • Juanita Morrissey (45) of Balzac, Alta., has been charged with Possession of identity documents, two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 and two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000.
