Alberta Beef Producers is looking for active people in the industry to become Delegates.

Delegates serve a two year term and must have sold cattle and paid a service charge to Alberta Beef Producers in the last two years.

Alberta Beef Producers' Vice-Chair, Kelly Smith-Fraser, says it's a very fulfilling role.

"In an industry that we all work so hard to better and to improve, we need to give back to the industry, and we need to have our voices heard, so that we can guide the organization and guide the industry."

She says, they're looking for two Delegates in every Zone, with some Cattle Feeder Council Representative positions open as well.

The deadline to put your name in is next Friday, August 31.

More information and nomination forms can be found on the Alberta Beef Producer's website.
