An Amber Alert has ended after a two-year-old was abducted, police say.
At 2:30 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 27), Hawkin Thomas was taken by his mom, Tamara Vanderjagt, from downtown Calgary. Reports say he was abducted following a supervised visit with his mother.
The Calgary Police Service confirmed at 10:20 p.m. they have safely located Thomas and Vanderjagt.
Police thanked the public for their help in the incident.
