As we are still in the middle of winter and colder weather, now is the perfect time to get prepared and create your summer camping plans.

Alberta Parks is currently using a five-month rollout period for reservations when it comes to group and comfort camping, implying that Albertans must reserve their space five months in advance.

When it comes to Individual (accommodates one camping accommodation unit per campsite) and backcountry camping, reservations can be made 90 days in advance.

This includes some of the most popular lakes and campsites in Alberta like Three Isle Lake, Lake Minnewanka, Point Campsite, Elbow Lake, Banff, and Lake Louise.

For all you first-time campers out there, Chris Mahony, President of Go RVing Canada recommends planning ahead and researching before you go.

"RVing is a great way for first-time campers to experience the beauty of Canada with the comfort and amenities of home," explained Mahony.

RVing and camping have been incredibly popular since COVID-19, so reserve your site while you still have the chance to have a fun summer outdoors.
