Brooks RCMP are asking for the public's help to find a man they believe is missing after a vehicular accident.

On Friday July 5, at about 6 p.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway about 20 km west of Brooks.

It's believed that the vehicle in the accident travelled several kilometres on open field before hitting a ravine, and becoming submerged in water.

Joseph Given, 25, of Calgary is believed to be the driver.

Brooks RCMP, Bassano RCMP, RCMP Police Dog Services, HALO (Medevac Rescue Helicopter), Search and Rescue, Medicine Hat Fire Department and Brooks Fire Department have conducted an extensive search of area and ravine, and have not been able to locate the driver.

Given is described as Caucasian, standing at six-foot-two inches tall, and 221 pounds, with brown hair, and hazel eyes.
