We are back to celebrate our second Workplace of the Month!

Pet Valu located in Edgefield was nominated by the customer Maggie and her pup Mika

“They are always so friendly when I go there and Mika knows when we turn into the parking lot just where she is and gets very excited! The employees are always helpful and very knowledgeable and they give the best pets according to Mika!”

Ana Bird owner of Pet Valu was shocked and pretty excited to receive this nomination.

“It feels amazing and my staff actually feels so appreciated. The smiles on their faces were beautiful.”

There are some definite perks to working in a pet store, one of Ana’s and her team's favourite is when a customer brings in their new ‘furever’ family member to meet them.

"We want to make it the best experience for you and your pet, giving you that positive impact when you come into the store. We love seeing people's faces, especially when they come in with a new puppy or a kitten being able to help them and leaving all the negativity outside and just being a happy place."
