Hometown Hockey is back for the playoffs.  On May 9 Chestermere will be hosting a Stanley Cup viewing party as part of Rogers Hometown Hockey. This event will be featuring the broadcast of Round 1, Game 4 between the Calgary Flames and the Dallas Stars.

Visitors will be able to attend this free event and watch the game on the big screen.

There will also be guest appearances by NHL Alumni, music and entertainment, along with food stations and a beer garden.

All of the fun gets started at about 5:30 p.m. at John Peake Park. The broadcast of the game will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wear your red and help cheer on with the City of Chestermere and the Calgary Flames as they look to once more defeat the Dallas Stars in the playoffs.

Strathmore hosted a Hometown Hockey event during a regular season game way back in Dec. 2019. With the Flames contending for the Stanley Cup this time around, you can expect the air to be charged with even more excitement.
