It was a night of collecting treats for the kids around Strathmore on Monday and one lucky winner started off with a big haul!

This year's 104.5 More Country Costume Contest was won by Nicole Raymond, who along with her dad created her amazing moth costume.

"She was pretty excited, she was happy because she was so proud of that costume," said Nicole's mom Kayna.

She also said this is not the only costume she has created over the years, " One year she wanted to be a three-headed dog, another year she was a garbage bag, she comes up with really good costumes."

With 72 per cent of the votes, Nicole took home the grand prize from contest sponsor Strathmore Value Drug: a box filled with goodies worth $104.50!
