The 104.5 More Country team has been busy with Seed and Feed this week, as they delivered pizza to a farm just outside of Strathmore, headed to Rockyford, and today they are on the way to the Standard area.

The team stopped in to visit the crew at Jay-Jay Farms who will get started very shortly seeding their 3500 acres of peas, wheat, barley, canola, and hay.

Chris Jensen said they have definitely felt the shift in weather as they are getting everything ready for another seeding season, "It was winter, now it's summer and dry and we haven't decided to start yet but we're getting ready to."

The Jensen family has been in Standard since 1910 and shows no signs of slowing down in or out of the field.

"I've got kids in hockey, baseball, and 4-H and 200 cows take up the rest of my time."

It was a great lunch for the crew to kick off the season thanks to Mike's Bar & Grill and today's sponsor connectFirst Credit Union.
