The cats and volunteers at Happy Cat Sanctuary are beaming with glee after a recent donation by Cameron & Reesa Bruce of Endeavour More Living.

They recently donated over $2,500 to the sanctuary and longtime volunteer for the sanctuary Debbie Jensen explained that it could have not come at a better time.

“Oh, it helps out really well with medical costs. We've had a lot of kittens coming this year. They all have to be spayed and neutered before they can be adopted out. They have to have all their shots, a lot of money we get that comes in is for all medical supplies. We're not sure why, but we've had an awful lot of cats this year. All other foundations are full as are.”

Jensen continued to say that they are short on foster homes, especially ones willing to house kittens. At the time of this interview, she was nursing a litter of kittens that were only a week old.

“We've really got a landslide this year. We need people to adopt, adopt, adopt, because there are all kinds of beautiful, lovable cats to be adopted out right now.”

The sanctuary is also looking for more volunteers. The COVID-19 pandemic caused them to stop accepting new volunteers. Now that restrictions have been lifted, they are accepting whoever is interested!
