Natasha Kent and her kindergarten class at Sacred Heart Academy is our June Classroom of the month!
Kent has said that this year has been really awesome, and her favorite memory was when her kindergarten class put on a Nativity scene for Christmas time.
"It was just such a beautiful memory together, it was really fun, and we did it in front of the entire school and then once they were done, the school was cheering, and the kids really loved that."
Kent was nominated by a parent named Lindsay Cook who said that Kent is one of the kindest, most caring teachers that she has had the pleasure of having to teach her kids and that really touched Mrs. Kent.
"It was just so kind and the words that she used just made my entire day, it just feels really good to be appreciated and I've got such a great set of parents behind these students. It's just really nice to have that sense of community and it makes me really feel appreciated."
The 104.5 team will be visiting Mrs. Kent and her kindergarten class later this month for a pizza party courtesy of Strathmore's Boston Pizza and CIR Realty. This is the last Classroom of the Month for the school year, we're already looking forward to getting started again next September!
