The residents in the communities of Wildflower, Strathmore Lakes and Westmount probably noticed something different about their tap water.  From October 1 to 12, 2018  Epcor was clearing out the water main system.

They do this by pressurizing the lines and flushing out the sediment.  This would have caused a cloudy appearance to the water.  After you run the tap for a period of five minutes the water should run clear.

Epcor spokesperson Tim le Riche said, " This happens every year and we alternate from a community to community and is just a part of regular maintenance."
