What a great way to save a little bit of cash this Halloween with The Strathmore Municipal Library’s Halloween Costume Exchange.

The exchange takes place from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday October 12. The aim is for people who have old Halloween costumes to exchange them for something new without spending a bunch of money.

“We are super thrilled with the community support of this Halloween Costume Exchange, this is our fifth annual Halloween Costume Exchange and it is growing, and growing each year,” said Carmen Erison, assistant director of library services for the Strathmore Municipal Library.

“I think that this one is going to be one of our most successful with the amount of costumes that we have to exchange,” she said.

“This is a really exciting program and we are so thrilled to be putting this on for the community,” she said.

How it works is participants are given a Halloween costume ticket for one costume, and one Halloween accessory ticket for one Halloween accessory.

Participants can also purchase costumes from 6 to 7 p.m. for a donation. A suggested donation is $2 per item, however all donations are accepted.
