The City of Airdrie has its first cases of COVID-19. 

The cases in Airdrie are among 33 additional ones being reported in the province today (March 22) bringing the total number in Alberta to 259.

18 cases are currently hospitalized with seven admitted to intensive care.  164 cases are in the AHS Calgary Zone, including the two in Airdrie.

Still, only one person has died in the province.

Because the province has received so many offers of help from generous individuals and organizations, the Alberta Emergency Management Agency Unsolicited Offers Program has been set up in response to help with the challenges many Albertans are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
