November 11, 2022, marked the 77th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

The Strathmore Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 was host to this year's service.

With the Legion at capacity for attendance, the service was also lived streamed on social media by the Town of Strathmore.

Donovan Arnaud the MC for the service made the point of speaking to the importance of seeing such a wide range of age groups in attendance and how it is important that each generation teaches the next of the sacrifices that happened in the past and continue to happen today.

After the service attendees gathered to break bread at the Legion as the Ladies Auxillary provide chili and bun.

For those who want to support the Legion membership is open to everyone.
