Are you ready to carve out some fun this weekend? Head over to Strathmore Dodge for their first annual Pumpkin Carving Contest.
There will be flash prizes and a chance to win a $100 Co-op gift card.
The manager of Strathmore Dodge, Shawn Kisling, said they'll be handing out candy, playing music and just making sure there's a boatload of fun.
"I just want the sound of laughter in our showroom."
Carvers will need to bring their own carving utensils for the contest and if your child is younger, they are allowed to print on the pumpkin instead of carving.
Kisling expressed that he is looking for the creativity in the kids to come out, but he won't be opposed to carvers doing some car logos and designs on their pumpkins.
"We are a dealership, after all, maybe some kind of car like RAM or Jeep designs."
The contest is this Saturday (October 21) from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Call 403-902-0434 or email taylor@strathmoredodge.com to register before October 20. Registration is already 60 per cent full.
