In times of high inflation and unprecedented vegetable prices, eating healthy has been harder than usual. But Strathmore FCSS will soon be offering a way to afford plenty of fruits and vegetables for cheap with the return of the Good Food Box program!

The Good Food Box is a non-profit organization providing fresh, locally grown produce for cheaper than what you'll find on grocery store shelves. It's similar to a large bulk club with centralized buying coordination, which means Good Food Box can buy offer lower than usual prices on their produce.

While the benefit of buying produce for cheap has the benefits of saving money while also being healthy, another big benefit is supporting local farmers, as the organization prioritizes farms close to home.

The program is open to anyone who wants to order, and you can pick your boxes up once a month. Pickup will be at the Strathmore Municipal Building once a month from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM. If you want to order, contact Strathmore FCSS at 403-934-9090.
