Day 8 of our Grain Rush winners goes to Hendricks Enterprises Ltd and Mike Hendricks and his crew are still in the mix of harvest and said that everything so far has gone very smoothly.
"The yield was probably a little better than I was anticipating. I was thinking it was going to be ugly, but it wasn't. We are waiting on a bunch of canola; we are day three of Canola and I think that we have about three to four days left."
Hendricks Enterprises is a mix, part cow calf operation and part grain, as Mike said they farm a little bit of everything. The season as a whole for them has gone really well too. They stuck to what they normally do and didn't do anything new this year.
