Come down to Kinsmen Park on Thursday September 27 to meet the entire crew of Strathmore’s exciting new radio station, 104.5 More Country.

“I am so excited to be in this area and in this community, in this county and in this town,” said Dave Hanni, Station Manager. “This is a very exciting thing.”

“This area has been far to long without a voice of its’ own,” he said. “We’re very proud to be the folks, the company and the radio station that will bring the voice and tell the stories to the local people, to help local businesses grow, to help organizations get bigger, better and stronger,” Hanni said.

At the launch, guests can visit with Station Manager Dave Hanni, and radio personalities Natalie Johnstone and Rolfe Johannson, news announcers Chris Mulder and Monique Massiah, as well as office manager Tammy Dubray.

The station also has a dedicated team of advertising/sales representatives in Shannon McAuley and Elisha Smith.

“We have got the best staff in the country in radio, from on-air, to news, to our sales, marketing and administration. Everyone is eager to say hi and shake a hand and invite you down to say hello, and see our operations in the studio, or in the office,” said Hanni.

“All of the staff is from town, or in and around the area in Wheatland County and we are super proud of that because when we do bring radio stations to communities we endeavour, we make it a priority, to make sure we hire local people,” he said.

Make sure you are at Kinsmen Park to be a part of Strathmore history.

“We’re More Country 104.5 FM. We’ve also got our StrathmoreNow.com website. You can dial us in with that and we’ll have some streaming audio as well,” he said.

“You can take us anywhere you go, in the office, in the car, on the radio, everywhere,” he said.
