On Tuesday, October 19th, Martin Shields, the Member of Parliament for Bow River was sworn in for his third term representing the Bow River riding.

“I pledge to work for the constituents of Bow River to the best of my abilities and I am honoured to be re-elected to represent this great riding for a third term,” said Shields in a news release.

Shields was first elected as the local MP for the Bow River riding in 2015. In the past, he also served as the mayor of the City of Brooks and held numerous other positions in the community including his over 30 years spent as a teacher and school administrator.
