This week the Strathmore Handi Bus changed hands to be under the control of the Strathmore Handi Bus Association.

According to the Town, the service levels will be unchanged. People who use the service must reapply to use it.

In a newsletter, the association says that they do not yet have permanent office space. But their hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Our service is remaining the same, providing quality and courteous transportation to residents with mobility issues, and seniors over 65 within the borders of Wheatland County, and Strathmore. COVID protocols are in place to protect the drivers and clients, and are strictly adhered to.”

Payment rates remain the same. Clients must re-apply due to privacy issues, the association was not able to forward the information from the Town of Strathmore to the Strathmore Handibus Association.
