Heading into summer residents of Strathmore will be starting to water their lawns again and the Town of Strathmore has put out the watering schedule.

Outdoor watering conservation is in effect from May 1st to October 31st every year and allows residents to water anytime outside of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

Some tips for residents to help in water conservation are combining children's yard play with lawn watering.
Water flowerbeds, trees and vegetable gardens with a watering can, or use a nozzle with a shut off valve to restrict water flow.

Other ways to help with conservation this year include, keeping your lawn at 3" to shade for roots and soil, combine recreational sprinkler and water toys with lawn watering along with other tips to help conserve water during the summer months.
