Campaign lawn signs for the NDP candidate for the Chestermere-Strathmore constituency Melissa Langmaid have been stolen.

According to Langmaid, the signs started to go missing in Chestermere and Langdon since the signs have been put up. She mentioned the signs that are going missing are on public property, not private property.

Langmaid feels unhappy about the signs disappearing, “The money that was used to purchase those signs came from donations from hardworking Albertans, so it's sad to see them disappear.”

Langmaid explained, “Removing the lawn signs doesn’t help anybody, it doesn’t help me, it doesn’t help my competitors. We just have to replace them.”

Langmaid said if someone sees someone tampering with a sign to report it to either the RCMP or the party.
