Three Hills RCMP received a complaint and initiated an investigation regarding an alleged sexual assault.

The complainant reported that a Three Hills Nurse Practitioner had sexually assaulted her in exchange for prescription medication and money.

On November 19 42-year-old Christopher Mah a resident of Red Deer was arrested and charged with sexual assault, extortion, and breach of trust.  Mah has been released from custody and will be appearing in the Drumheller Provincial court on December 9.

Three Hills RCMP extended their thanks to the Southern Alberta General Investigation Section for assisting with the investigation. 

The Three Hills RCMP is continuing its investigation and is asking the public to come forward with any similar type of incidents.
