After a nearly two-year investigation, Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit have arrested and charged a male in the death of Dylan Denault (27) of Brooks, Alta.

Julian Conrad Morris (32) from Medicine Hat has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.

After a judicial hearing, Morris was remanded to custody and will next be appearing on Jan. 20, 2022, in Medicine Hat Provincial Court.

On Jan. 13, 2020, at approximately 11 a.m., Redcliff RCMP responded to a report of a deceased male at a rural road south of Medicine Hat and east of Highway 3.

According to police, as these matters are now before the courts, no further details can be released.
