Chestermere RCMP are on the hunt for a suspect after a man was shot.
Police say the victim was shot in his vehicle near Meganser Drive by people he didn't know on Sunday night (Nov. 12) just before 11 p.m.
The victim then allegedly drove himself to the RCMP detachment in Chestermere where he was met by EMS and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There was another person in the vehicle during the shooting that wasn't hurt.
"The shooters were driving a dark-coloured pickup truck," police said in a release.
Mounties ask that area residents check their vehicles, residential and commercial surveillance, and report any suspicious activity.
The Southern Alberta District General Investigative section has been deployed to help with the investigation.
