Strathmore suffered a big loss, as beloved community member Natalie Wright passed away at 54 years old.

"Heaven has gained another angel. I am absolutely heartbroken at the sudden loss of this beautiful, free spirit, one-of-a-kind soul. You left an impact on everyone you met," said Sherry Weiss, one of Natalie's closest friends.

If you've shopped at No Frills, there's a good chance you've seen Natalie, as she was a well-known cashier who never failed to brighten someone's day. Laine Creighton worked with Natalie for ten years, and he said her kindhearted nature and willingness to help everybody was part of what made her such a big part of many people's lives.

"She was phenomenal, she was nice to everybody. If the customer needed help, she'd go above and beyond, willing to help everybody. All the customers loved her inside and out of work."

During their time spent working together, Creighton said their friendship went well beyond simply being coworkers, as Natalie was always dependable and a great person to be around outside of work hours as well.

"When I've been sick, she'd take me to the hospital, coming to the hospital (to visit), taking me to appointments. She's always been there for me," he said.

Above anything else, Creighton emphasized the greatest thing about Natalie was that she was a great person and a wonderful friend. Her positive personality definitely shined at No Frills, which is how many knew her, but to Creighton their friendship went well beyond the walls of No Frills.

"I remember going to a couple football games when Brett (her son) was playing, and I had no idea about football, so she was giving me the play by play the whole time."

As for Weiss, the pain of losing Natalie is of course incredibly difficult to overcome, but she said she is so grateful and thankful that they were close friends and will forever cherish the many memories they made together.

"Your family, friends and coworkers will miss you terribly. I love you Natalie and will miss you so so very much. You will be forever in my heart. Gone way to soon and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend," said Weiss.
