Rocky View School Division (RVS) is hosting a second public consultation and online engagement to assist in deciding the grade configuration and attendance area of the new high school in Langdon, which is set to open next year in 2024.
In May, RVS presented an option for the accommodation plan that would impact the grade configurations of Sarah Thompson School, Langdon School and Indus School and some of the attendance boundaries for certain rural area where students would be attending Chestermere High School (CHS).
The meeting is on October 17 at Langdon School. The meeting will begin with a presentation by RVS administration at 6:30, followed by feedback sessions. This is where parents and guardians s are invited to learn more about additional options under consideration and provide their input at a meeting.
Feedback may also be provided online beginning October 17 through RVSEngage.com. All feedback must be received by Nov. 13 at 9 A.M. The Board will use this information to help determine an accommodation plan for the new school.
The meeting to discuss the new accommodation plan for the new school will be held on December 14.
