There have been many cancelations this season for different theatre companies across Alberta, and the Rosebud is no exception.

Rosebud is the little town that could, for years they have been entertaining audiences who have come from around the world to see a Rosebud Theatre show. With artists from across Canada making their way to Rosebud to perform for patrons and quaint gift shops with many local artisans creations on display, a delicious buffet, a new show in the art gallery every season and in the summer buskers on the street corner.

With dedicated performers, Rosebud Theatre has launched Homestage Tours, where each different performer will virtually bring music and theatre live into your living room. The community of Rosebud is hoping to bring a little light to your day and share their passion. Emails with dates are sent to patrons on their email list currently as well you can keep up with the shows on their Facebook page.

With the yearly '15 Minutes Of Fame' festival at the end of summer, to student productions and professional productions a theatre school and many more activities throughout the year Rosebud Theatre is a bustle of people and events during the year.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, this little town has not seen that influx of patrons to entertain and make laugh and cry and share in the story with them, but that has not stopped them from wanting to bring live music and theatre to their patrons each week.
