Two young local brothers, Travis (8) and Chase (10) have written to Santa to enlist his help in an event to bring the community together and raise money for charity.  

They partnered with Rocking R Guest Ranch to put on the Ultimate Santa Experience 2021 Country Edition 2021.  

 The brothers have a business is called TIC and TYC, which supports local businesses by making deliveries of fresh foods. They are trying to reduce environmental harm to the earth and ocean. 

Through their entrepreneurial journey, they have learned how important it is to give back and they hope to raise $3,000 for some special causes.

“We have a professional photographer coming and we have Santa coming especially from the North Pole for this event,” explained mother Tracey Cornette. “There's going to be a horse-drawn wagon or sleigh ride, snow photos with Santa, craft with Santa's elves, a hot chocolate station with a campfire and then a photo frenzy with the Elves and letters to Santa.” 

The cost of a ticket is $40 for this experience and portions of the proceeds from this event will be donated to local food banks, STARS, and the Ronald McDonald House in Calgary.  

Ten-year-old Chase explained that they picked these charities after experiencing the importance of the organizations firsthand.  

“About a year or two, the bus I take for school, someone collided with it by our house and the person driving the car would have died if STARS didn't come,” he explained. 

The food bank is also something that the boys have donated to before, and they want to do as much as they can for those that are in need.  

“We have to support people. People need help sometimes at this time of year. A lot of people don't have homes and they don't have food, so we're donating because of that.”
