UPDATE:

The Town of Strathmore said they hope to finish repairs tomorrow, and once that is completed they have to send a water sample for approval before the Splash Park can reopen. While the Town is hopeful the park could be open as early as Monday, there is no set timeline.

Strathmore is currently under a heat warning and with temperatures expected to be in the high 20's to low 30's this weekend cooling down will be on everyone's mind. 

One of the places a lot of Strathmore little's love to go is the splash park at Kinsmen Park.  Unfortunately at this time due to a water main break the Lions Splash Park is temporarily closed.

The town advised that they are working to rectify the issue as quickly as possible but as of Friday morning at 9 am they do not have a set time for the park to reopen but they will advise when they have more information. 

If you are still looking for that cool down the Strathmore pool does have a public swim this afternoon from 1-5 the schedule can be seen on the towns website strathmore.ca.
