The Town of Strathmore along with Strathmore Minor Hockey is happy to announce that on June 18th they are bringing back 3-on-3 street hockey tournament for residents aged 4-18 to locals who have missed the event during the pandemic.

Manager of the Family Centre Craig Dilts is preparing to bring this event to Strathmore once again.

“I think people are going to be really happy.  We've actually moved it up to the arena parking lot at the family center. I think it'll really help because we've got a lot more accessible facilities in this location, whether it be for washrooms or water and such.”

In addition to lots of hockey, residents can expect activities including face painting and a few food trucks showing up the day of the competition

Dilts also wants to reassure residents that this event will be coming back next year

“We're looking to keep this going as an annual event. It's happened for the past few years but Covid obviously has not been helpful in us doing that, but it is something that we want to see every year.”

Registration is open online at PerfectMind and the cost is $12 per participant; this price also includes lunch.
