The Town of Strathmore says they are still sitting at around the 25 per cent mark for water usage over the past few days.

According to the City of Calgary, work on the feeder main break is done as crews have finished welding and sealing the pipe but said work has started to fill the repaired pipe with water for testing.

City officials are cautiously optimistic that restrictions can be lifted in time for the Calgary Stampede.

Town staff in Strathmore are doing their part to help out by offering a special water buggy filled with potable water from the Rockyford, Alberta Fill Station to assist residents.

You can get your water tonight from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Strathmore Family Centre Arena.
