In the wake of Stage 4 outdoor water restrictions and voluntary indoor restrictions, the Town of Strathmore will be bringing out a water buggy to help with the strain on the town's water supply.

"We know these outdoor water restrictions have been challenging, especially for your gardens and outdoor plants," The Town of Strathmore said in a post.

On Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., the parking lot at the Strathmore Family Centre Arena will be home to a fill station.

"Residents are welcome to stop by and take what they need to water flowers, veggie gardens, etc. The spigots fill slow, but they work great for bottle, milk jugs etc."

The water buggy will be filled with potable water sourced from the Rockyford, Alberta Fill Station.

The Town implemented the outdoor water restrictions after an emergency water main break in the City of Calgary as Strathmore's water supply comes from Calgary.

According to the city, repair for the feeder min is in its final stages.
