At approximately 5:30 a.m. on November 8 the Strathmore RCMP and the Langdon Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire, located on Township Road 230, in Rocky View County.
Once the fire was extinguished, it was determined that human remains were inside the vehicle.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has since taken over the investigation, and an autopsy was conducted on November 9, at the Calgary Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and the manner of death has been deemed a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
