Following a round of preliminary street sweeping three weeks ago, the Town of Strathmore is now officially undergoing its full street cleaning and sweeping.
Street sweeping began on May 3 and will run until May 17. The full schedule is available on the Town's website, and if your street is the next to be cleaned there will be signs 24 hours in advance so you know to avoid parking on the street.
"Please avoid parking on streets with "No Parking" signs. No parking signs will be placed 24 hours in advance. The sweeping schedule is weather dependent and subject to change," the Town's website reads.
The full schedule is as follows:
- May 3: Strathcona Lakes, Strathcona
- May 4: Strathaven
- May 5: Glenwood, Edgefield, Aspen Creek
- May 8: Westmount
- May 9: Maplewood, Cambridge
- May 10: Wildflower, The Ranch
- May 11: Downtown
- May 12: Green Meadows, Grande Pointe, Parkwood, Centre Street
- May 15: Hillview, Lakewood
- May 17: Thorncliffe, Bayside Place, Brentwood, Briarwood
