A large group of what appear to be Tundra Swana have decided to make the fields around Langdon their home for a while. The birds are over 1,000 in number and have been attracting many with their large numbers.

Tundra Swans are very large waterfowl with heavy bodies and long necks. The bill slopes gently away from the head. There are two populations of Tundra Swans—one in the east and one in the west. Twice a year, Tundra Swans migrate 6 000 km between the Artic and the west coast.
