The Strathmore RCMP are searching for the individuals who sprayed a local business and a number of highway signs with red spray paint.

On the morning of Tuesday, July 27, 2021, between the hours of 8 and 9 a.m., numerous signs in the Strathmore area were vandalized with red spray paint along Highway 1.

These areas include the back exterior wall of the Co-op grocery store facing Hwy1, The Edgefield promotional sign on the south side of Hwy1, and a Realtor sign on Spruce and Highway 1.

A witness stated a male was driving a grey-coloured older pickup truck and using the truck to stand on while writing on the signs. The male was possibly wearing a short-sleeved western shirt and blue jeans. If anyone witnessed the vandalism or has any further information, please contact the Strathmore RCMP at 403-934-3968.
