As you're driving into Strathmore from the west along the Trans Canada Highway, you might notice several improvements to the side road, Westridge Road.

This week the Town of Strathmore gave an update on the Beautification Phase of the project.

Road and pathway lines have been painted and new trees were planted last week, and in the coming weeks more landscaping will take place, like sod placing and flower bed installation.

When completed, Westridge Road will be a visual gateway into the community of Strathmore.

Town Council has designated the beautification of the highway corridor as a priority within the Town Council's Strategic Plan. The project is expected to be completed in 2022.
