This upcoming long weekend (March 29–April 1), it is important to keep in mind that some businesses and amenities in Strathmore will be closed. 

The Strathmore Municipal Building will be closed on Friday (March 29) for Good Friday and Monday (April 1) for Easter Monday. 

The recycling facility in Strathmore will also be closed on Friday (March 29), but waste collection will occur as normal. 

All Golden Hills School Division (GHSD) and Christ the Redeemer Catholic School students will be off from Friday, March 29 until Friday, April 5, for the Easter holiday and Spring Break. 

During the holiday weekend, some facilities in Strathmore, such as the Aquatic Centre and the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre, may have reduced hours, and it is suggested to call ahead before heading out. 

Other businesses in town may be closed or have shortened hours during the holiday weekend.
