The Carseland and District Community Association and Agricultural Society are looking to get their recreation facilities back up and running.

They asked Wheatland County Council to draft a letter of support on Tuesday during a regular council meeting.

The Association explained to council the challenges and difficulties they are experiencing because of COVID-19 restrictions, and how they would implement more safety measures during operation.

They requested to re-open their ball diamond facilities after suffering financial loss.

After some discussion, the council ultimately decided to support the municipality in opening up their facility with new prevention policies in place.
